Google is currently running 2 affiliate programs that are available to most AdSense users.
The AdSense affiliate program
The first is for AdSense itself and it is generous. The basic position is that if you
- Refer a new publisher to AdSense
- They qualify and sign up, and
- They earn $100 from clicks (legitimately!)
- You get paid $100
Of course you need to be an AdSense publisher yourself to be able to profit from this affiliate program. There is also likely to be a time lag between people signing up and you getting paid because it takes newcomers a while to earn $100.

The Firefox affiliate program
The second referral program is for the Firefox browser and associated Google toolbar. Here the basic position is
- You refer a new user to the Firefox browser download page
- They install it on their computer
- They run it for the first time
- You get paid $1

Ok, so that’s not so generous but there are 2 reasons why both these programs ought really to make you some easy money.

Is it possible to build up an Adsense empire?
When you finally make the decision to become a website entrepreneur you will, probably, fall into one of two broad categories:
- Publish 100 websites that each earn $1 a day profit
- Publish 1 website that earns $100 a day profit
In fact, the reality of it is, most people end up somewhere in between. Handling 100 websites is not an easy task. You have to consider the website maintenance, management and content issues. However, having one website open a new window. You now have a risk of fluctuation (100 websites net fluctuates much less than 1 website) You can have many kinds of fluctuations: search engines algorithm’s, market trends, etc…
You can adapt your plan on the way, but you’ll have an easier time if you start out going in the direction of where you want to end up.
Insider’s Adsense Tip
If your goal is to build a net of different niche websites, use a CMS (content management system) to handle your content and your website design. You have many free options in the market. Wordpress, mambo or drupal are good solutions for your CMS needs.
